Blake Mycoskie | Ted Talk

I am still processing everything from yesterday.

Standing on that stage in Vancouver and sharing my story, the real one, the one I was not ready to tell for a long time, was one of the most terrifying and beautiful things I have ever done. And the response after was something I was completely not prepared for.

So many of you came up to me after the talk with tears in your eyes. You told me about your own struggles, your own moments of feeling like you were not enough, your own quiet falls from grace that nobody around you knew about. Every single one of those conversations meant everything to me.

We handed out ENOUGH bracelets after the talk and watching people put them on and reading the poem out loud together, I just kept thinking, this is exactly why I started this. Not the stage, not the talk, but this. This exchange. This reminder that none of us are as alone in this as we think.

To everyone who showed up, who listened, who cried, who reached out, who sent messages, thank you. Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your love and support and feedback from today means more than I will ever be able to say.

It was the greatest honor of my life to share this story. And I really believe the best is still ahead.
